This blog post will be from week 11 and week 12. For these 2 weeks, I made chinese donuts. Originally there wasn't going to be sugar on them, but I thought that there would be no taste to them if there wasn't sugar, so i decided to roll them in cinnamon sugar and it turned out to be really good. The first week of making the chinese donuts, they weren't the right texture. It was too hard to bite into them, but the second week of making them, they were just right. Overall they still tasted pretty good.

This blog is going to be combined from week 9 and 10. During these 2 weeks, I've made strawberry milk. I made strawberry milk because I was getting bored of drinking regular flavored milk my whole life, so I decided to change the game and make something boring into something cool. STRAWBERRY MILK!!! There were many ways to make strawberry milk but this is the way that I did it. So instead of mashing the strawberries, I cut up the strawberry into many pieces and boiled it into some water, added some sugar and that's where I got my strawberry syrup to put into the milk. Overall, everything tasted really good!!
Ingredients Strawberry Pot (To boil the strawberries) Sugar Milk (Any Kind is fine) 1st picture - 9th week 2nd picture - 10th week I love sushi a lot so instead of having to go out and buy shishi, why not make my own? This isn't really my first time making sushi because I've seen my mom cook sushi a lot but it has been a while since then so I'm still bad at it. Doing this was really fun because it really brought out the creative side too. My dad doesn't like sushi because he doesn't like seaweed but he said he liked the Sushi so... I just had a hard time rolling the sushi because I would accidentally squeeze it too hard. Overall it was still really fun to make.
Here are the pictures after everything was done! I'm ready to try more different styles in the second week of making this!!! (This is the first week of making sushi.) This week I made more pizza bites, but this time I added Italian Seasoning because last time I made the pizza bites, they didn't have italian seasoning but this time I added it to the pizza mix and it tasted so much better. My mom didn't like this week's pizza bites but my dad did. It's just because they both have a different taste so it might just have to be like that. I also let it cook a little bit longer than before so that's why it looks a little more crispy color than the other pizza bites.
Ingredients 3/4 Cups Flour 3/4 TS Baking Powder 3/4 Cup Milk 1 Egg 1 TS Italian Seasoning 1/4 TS Salt 1 Cup Mozzarella cheese 1 1/2 Cups of Pepperoni -Sauce- Marinara Sauce So today I decided to make some mini pizza bites because I haven't had pizza in a very long time. I've been craving them for a while. Anyway when I first made these mini pizza bites, I didn't have Italian seasoning so it didn't have a full potential taste to it, but it still turned out really good. The ingredients were simple to get and everything was just really easy to do. When I go to college I'm definitely going to make some for me!!!
When making these, I had to be a bit careful because both of my parents have differents tastes so my mom thought these were good but my dad thought they needed more flavor. Today I made curry the second time. Last time there was some ways that I made the food that I thought I should redo because the taste last time was a bit bitter. This week I made curry and it turned out to be a success. It tasted really good and way better than last week. This week I decided to cook the chicken thigh separate from the sauce. I think that was a good idea and that was one of the things I did this week that I didn't do last week. This week I also decided to use less curry powder than last time along with the coconut (using less). I also changes the way I layed out the food. I know in college I won't really have time to get fancy with the layout since I had time today I decided to just do it. This week I earned a level 5 for my cooking.
Ingredients Chicken Thigh Rice -Sauce- 1 TBS Curry powder 1/2 Cup Diced Onions 1/2 TS Paprika Powder 1 Cup Coconut milk 1/2 TS Salt and Pepper 1 TS Fish Sauce Today was the day that I made something different and new. This week I made Coconut Chicken Curry for the first time and I think that this was a very fun experience. I loved making something different and something that I usually never make that often. Since this is my first time making curry I have learned my mistakes that I have made during this. While my mom taste tested the food, we came to an agreement that I accidentally but too much of the curry powder in to where it tasted a bit bitter than usual. Next time i'll remember to not add too much curry powder! For this food my mom has graded me a 4 for the curry.
Today is March 8, 2020. I have just finished cooking my first set of food (aka Lo mein). I also cooked Lo mein last week but this week is the final production of it. Usually the first time I make the food, it would be my practice round. Last week when I made the food, my mother (the grader) gave me a 4 because the food was missing some items but this week I worked on the flavor a bit more and this time I got a 5. I think that the more I keep practicing on the flavor of food and get it perfect, I think that. the food will get better as I keep cooking.
